Physiological effects
Glucosamine is a building block of cartilage tissue, important for cartilage flexibility and strength.
Green mussel (Perna canaliculus) is rich in essential Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA, DHA and ETA). In particular, ETA (eicosatetraenoic acid) fatty acids are highly reactive and are involved in many different metabolic functions in the body. ETA fatty acids act as inhibitors of the formation of neurotransmitters from arachidonic acid.
Calcium, vitamin D and magnesium are important building blocks for skeletal health and are important to be obtained from the diet at the same time.
The product also contains high quality OptiMSM® methylsulfonyl methane.
