Melatonin, in particular, is a hormone secreted by the pineal gland in the brain that is involved in regulating the sleep-wake rhythm. Melatonin secretion increases in the dark and has a sleepy effect. Therefore, it makes it easier to fall asleep. Melatonin can be ingested as a dietary supplement from which it is rapidly absorbed.

Bioteek's Efficacy Melatonin tablet contains 1.9 mg melatonin. Melatonin helps shorten the time to fall asleep. In addition, it helps to mitigate the individual effects of the time difference.

Ingredients: Sweeteners (mannitol, xylitol), fillers (corn starch, hydroxypropylcellulose), anti-caking agents (magnesium salts of vegetable fatty acids, cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose), melatonin (synthetic), flavor (natural pint)

Daily dose: 1 tablet shortly before bedtime to reduce the time to fall asleep. To alleviate the effects of the time difference: ½ – 1 tablet shortly before bedtime on the first day of travel and the next few days after arrival at the destination. The tablets should be swallowed with water, preferably on an empty stomach.

The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. The supplement is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children.
