Description:

In 1865, the town of Fleetwood in Great Britain was known for its fishing harbor and fishermen who headed all the way to the windy and cold waters of the North Atlantic. The cold and damp conditions often caused the men to have coughs, sore throats and colds. James Lofthouse, a young local pharmacist, developed a potent menthol and eucalyptus elixir to relieve men. However, glass bottles were quite impractical in the waves of the sea and James continued to develop the product into a lozenge form. Lozenges quickly gained solid popularity among fishermen, and they didn't want to leave the port without their "friends", as they called the lozenges. The name Fisherman's Friend was born.

Ingredients: Sweeteners: sorbitol, sucralose, acesulfame K; licorice extract, ammonium glycyrrhizinate, flavors, anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids. Contains sorbitol (86 g/100 g), which can have a laxative effect if used excessively. The product is not recommended for children under 5 years of age. Contains licorice - people suffering from high blood pressure should avoid excessive use of the product.
